Welcome to the Boston Sports Institute

The Boston Sport Institute, is a massive 130,000 sq. ft. multi use recreation facility that will feature two NHL regulation ice surfaces (one fully sled hockey compatible), indoor synthetic turf field, competition swimming pool, warm up pool, sports rehabilitation, and strength training. All of this will be conveniently located at 900 Worcester Street (Route 9).

BSI amenities

Boston Sports Institute offers a wide range of amenities designed to enhance the experience for athletes, families, and spectators alike. The facility features 2 NHL-regulation ice surfaces, a indoor synthetic turf field that also converts to basketball courts, an on-site strength and conditioning and physical therapy spaces to support player development, and a competiton swimming pool. Guests can enjoy food and beverages at the full-service café and concessions area, get steps in around our public indoor track, or relax in mezzanine viewing and event spaces overlooking the ice. With ample parking and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, Boston Sports Institute is fully equipped to host daily programs, tournaments, practices, and special events year-round.

We are proud to be the official home to the PWHL Boston Fleet for on-and off- ice training. Starting in 2024, the Boston Fleet have called BSI Home for practice, training and everyday usage.

Our Facility

BSI features two NHL sized (85 x 200') ice sheets with overhead standing room to get a unique viewing of the game or stay warm in our concession stand while you watch, an indoor pool for swimming competitions, and a multi-purpose field house that holds courts and turf!
